[New Bot] Bot to check status to see if it is "Scheduled" but has no resources or meetings scheduled in the future and sends an alert if not

Summary: Bot to check status to see if it is “Scheduled” but has no resources or meetings scheduled in the future and sends an alert if not.

What problem/s will this bot address? Our workflows specifically avoid tickets in “Scheduled” status for escalation alerts. If tickets are left in this status but there is no future scheduled event it could get lost in the shuffle.

Is there any dashboard that you are using today to address this problem? no

When should this bot be triggered? If ticket status = “Scheduled” and there are no resources are meetings with a scheduled date in the future on the ticket., then send a message.

Where do you want to send the message? Email

Details of the message to be sent if the bot is triggered:

What happened? Ticket ## is in scheduled status but has not resources or meetings scheduled for a future date

What should the recipient be asked to do? Please check ticket ## and add a scheduled resource or update the status

Why should the recipient do it? The ticket will not get escalated if the status is wrong, or a scheduled event in the future may be missed.

@DanielWang, heads up that I built something like this recently in case the MSPBots team wants to reference it. It could use some tweaking. Check out our bot: “Ticket Scheduled Without Next Date.”

Awesome! I will ask our product team to review it and release it as a template so all CW manage users can use it.

Hi there! MSPBots has created bots that’s specifically made from this idea! These bots are made to alert of the number of tickets that fit this criteria, as well as remind techs who updated these kinds of tickets to check the specific ticket that has this issue. You can check them out and use them now
