Summary: I need a bot where it can send an announcement or a reminder of some kind to our General Teams Chat so the team is reminded to take their 10-minute breaks.
What problem/s will this bot address? It will help to make sure that every team member takes their breaks for the day.

When should this bot be triggered? If it’s 10 AM, 1 PM and 2 PM on weekdays, then send a message.

What happened? Dear (Phil, MJ or Real) it’s time for you to take your break.
What should the recipient be asked to do? Please take your break as soon as possible so the rest can follow.
Why should the recipient do it? Taking their breaks would allow them to take a breather, relax for a while, get something to eat or drink then they can proceed to whatever they are working on and they won’t be overworked.
Suggest a name for this bot: Break Reminder
Description of this bot: This bot reminds the tech to always take their breaks in the morning and in the afternoon.
Priority: High
I already asked for that. They told me it was done, but good luck finding it.

Hi @Michael_Johnson , if you can help me to identify which employee told you it was done in your account but it actually was not, I will work with our leadership team to investigate since it is totally unacceptable, especially for a bot as easy as I showed. Let me know if you want to try to follow the video to make it happen or need our help to recreate it in your account. We need to know which Channel you want to send the bot message to.

Daniel this is great but if I’m using the attendance app, I’d rather trigger this sort of reminder 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours after the employee takes themself out of the ‘out’ status in the attendance app. Is this sort of thing possible?
That’s a good idea.
It definitely can be done, might need to involve the data analyst to help, here is the design:
If the user status is “In”, the current time - “in” time = 2 or 4 or 6 hours,
Send the same reminder.
If that makes sense, I will ask the product team to create a template that will be available for all Attendance app users.
It does make sense. In practice the 2 & 6 hour reminders are for 10 minute breaks, where the 4 hour reminder is for lunch. So we really would need two different bots or one that was smart enough to know the difference.
@Jim_De_Vico , The new bot development is finished, it is going through QA and packaging, then it will be released as a template bot for all attendance clients.

We’ve installed the Break Reminder bot on your tenant accounts.
Go to Bots > My Bots > Break Reminder Bot.
We only set the Trigger ON to check if BOT messages will be generated.
Kindly test and monitor if it works based on your needs. We would appreciate your feedback on its functionality.
If ok, will update our Attendance App and include this one on our list of default bots.
